When looking into Scroll Saws, you will find the Best Scroll Saw, is the one that starts up every-time you hit the switch, generates minimum vibration when in use at its top speed, plus provides a variable speed control, and that’s exactly why I choose the Dewalt DW788, the best scroll saw out there.
The Blade type and the Saw mounting all play an important part in addition, and must be set correctly. The Dewalt provides a link arm design which holds the work piece in place also reducing added vibration. The following is exactly what I discovered the DEWALT DW788 1.3 Amp 20-Inch Variable-Speed Scroll Saw provided and much more. I tried a few different types that were just so-so, and even bought a cheapo-brand, which was a frustrating mistake on my part, thought I’d learned my lesson…! Highlights – Dewalt Scroll Saw Over time I found myself and family members using the scroll saw for woodworking projects, interior decor-trim work, and somewhat became hooked on the results they were getting producing quality detailed items. The Dewalt is a very operator friendly power tool, and you get used to operating very quickly making some great designs, especially with the many Templates available. I decided to buy only the best Scroll Saw available. I always look at Power Tools as an investment and tend to target Dewalt Power Tools and a few other Top name brand plus a well known super customer service. Dewalt fit my expectations perfectly, never any issues with this Scroll Saw, and in my opinion, the Dewalt is the best Scroll Saw out there. The small features are designed for easy access within reach right up front, for example, the blade tensioning lever is a sensitive feature since the blade tension itself should really be dialed in on super detailed designs, for accuracy, cutting quality, and best appearance when completed. The dust blower nozzles are also right there, easy to manage, preventing dust buildup when making those sensitive small detailed cuts. The Arm is designed to lift up and away from the work piece, allowing for the blade to be threaded through the material for the inside cuts required. This is a really nice feature, operator friendly.
